Agreed.
I don’t think any condition does. I think that anyone who suggests it, is either making excuses or is ill informed about veganism/plant-based diets.
People believe doctors too easily. They are not always right*; you have to think for yourself and remember that doctors are part of a system owned by pharmaceutical companies and animal agriculture companies - it is in their best interests to teach medical professionals the information that they need passing down to the public. (Plus, the fact that big food business is ‘in bed’ with big pharma business is scary - their food makes you sick, then their pills make you better and it’s all profit for the companies… At your expense…)
The human body doesn’t need to consume flesh or any animal product. Animal products make healthy humans ill after a while (as you say). Why would a person with an pre-existing ailment have to consume those things?
Then there is the fact that your problems are not the problems of non-human animals. Why should they die by the billions to make humans feel better? If a person thought they had to consume human flesh to survive, they wouldn’t be let off quite so easily. (Yeah, yeah, I know: ‘but they’re only animals’ etc, etc…)
*I have been told some extraordinary things by doctors in my time and have been through maybe 30+ GPs, 4 specialists relating directly to my problems and numerous other medical professionals for relating issues.
