If you didn't/don't eat fibrous foods, what do you mostly eat?
Carbs, mostly. I am better now than I was (I do still have relapses/flare ups, but these are not always due to food. Food is a big trigger, though).
I spent over a year living on baked potatoes, plain boiled white rice and tinned spaghetti in tomato sauce because I was afraid to eat anything else (even that had its ‘moments’).
I really am sorry for your mum, I have no doubt that she has it worse than I do. I have been through some really bleak times, but there is always a way; it might just take a bit more effort to achieve.
